Woman plunges off a cliff during test drive

An elderly motorist walked away without a scratch after plunging off a 100-foot cliff while test driving her new car. According to a report in the Telegraph newspaper, the unidentified woman is disabled and had her car modified with hand controls for the gas and brake pedals.

Police say she apparently hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, crashed into a wooden bench and then plunged over the cliff. "The car actually took off, it was unbelievable," witness Martin Jeffreys told the Telegraph.

Police say miraculously she wasn't hurt."Her only injuries are a few scratches she got from brambles as she got out of the car," Sgt. Leo Glendon of the Dorset police said.

I keep telling folks that the elderly don't need to drive. They need drivers...
