A UConn football player was stabbed to death early Sunday after a party celebrating his schools homecoming victory. Jasper Howard and another student were the only two injured after the fire alarm was pulled at the dance.
Jasper was from Miami and expecting his first child with his girlfriend. By all accounts he was a good guy in the wrong place at the wrong time. His mother stated that her son went away to school to get away from the violence of his neighborhood in Miami.
It's so unfortunate that our children are dying from such random acts of violence...another fatherless child is left behind.
