Now i hate to be condescending but thank God I live in California, I was reading the news today when I stumbled across an article about this justice of the peace (of course down south) in Louisiana refusing to grant a marriage license to a white woman and a Black man...of course...Only in 2009 down South would some ish like that happen smh
Here is his racist reasoning
Keith Bardwell, justice of the peace in Tangipahoa Parish, says that in his experience interracial marriages do NOT LAST LONG HA..this has got to be a joke. He claims that he isn't a racist and he marries Black folks all the time!! Just not the Black men that are taking up the White women I suppose. He goes on to say " I don't do interracial marriages because I don't want the children to put children in a situation they didn't bring on themselves"
